He is back in the OR
They told us it would take an hour to an hour and a half to get the lines started. They will let us know when the surgeon makes the incision to start getting to the heart. Been pretty tough this morning, had another anxiety attack when we got here, long story short I ended up in Jacobs bed. Just pray because it's going to be a long day. Jacob kept telling me that it would be ok.....so sweet and brave.

We're all praying for you & Ed and most of all, little Jacob this morning at CDI. Kim is keeping us updated. I just know Jacob will do wonderful in surgery because God has some pretty amazing plans for him in the future.

ReplyDeleteSending our prayers for you all especially your amazing little boy. As a Dad of 9 year old and 7 year old little boys, I can't even imagine what you are going through. I get so nervous and upset when one of them gets a fever or the flue.
ReplyDeleteWe all need to have the faith and trust in Jesus that your son has. It Will be ok Daddy! Our Savior will watch over the situation and he will be at your side and guide you through this. I just wish that there was something else that I could say or do to comfort you all at this time. May the peace of God be with you at this time.

ReplyDeleteI cannot believe how emotional I got reading these updates! I have two small girls, one who will be three in April. I read the stories about Jacob and think about her being in his situation, and I break. You two are very strong, supportive parents and Jacob deserves you two so much. It's so awesome that even through all of this he can still have a sense of humor. My family and I will be praying for you every day!
